Laura was past chair of the Amarillo EDC board and has experience as a part of Leadership Texas, and the following State organizations: Laura W. Bush for Women’s Health, Texas Association for Symphony Orchestras, Texas Perinatal Association, Texas Tech Research Park Texas Cultural Trust, and Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute developing state-wide decisions. She also brings the local knowledge of how our community organizations work having served as President of the following Community Boards: Amarillo Economic Development Corp., The Amarillo Symphony, West Texas A&M Foundation Board, Amarillo Chamber of Commerce, Amarillo Global Food Hub, Panhandle Behavioral Health Alliance, TX. Association for Symphony Orchestras, Amarillo Symphony Board, Amarillo Symphony Guild, Family Support Services, Amarillo Business and Professional Women, Art Force for Amarillo College, Amarillo Opera, Amarillo Don Harrington Discovery Center Science Museum and the Founder of the Globe-News Center.
